Not another sponsor, specific news about a venue, or move by VANOC, Bing Thom is a person that's had a profound impact on the design of the City of Vancouver. Some of his projects include the Chan Centre for the Performing Arts at UBC and Robson Square. A project currently underway that his firm Bing Thom Architects designed is the Whistler Celebration Centre which will be turned into a public outdoor ice rink after the Olympic Games.
