General Motors (GM) of Canada is the Official Vehicle Partner of the Vancouver 2010 Winter Games and the Canadian Olympic Team. It will provide the necessary fleet vehicles in both the pre-Games and Games-time periods. A key element of GM Canada's sponsorship includes a commitment to ensure that 30 per cent of the vehicle fleet used by organizers and volunteers leading up to and during the 2010 Winter Games will have hybrid or alternative fuel technologies. GM Canada's fleet of fuel efficient, low-emission 2010 Winter Games vehicles will include sedans, passenger vans, SUVs and trucks from the Chevrolet, Pontiac, Buick, GMC, Cadillac and Saturn brands.
